Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to a sensor strip (1) for use in conjunction with a medical dressing (2), wherein the sensor strip (1) comprises at least one sensing electrode (3) configured to measure the concentration of dissolved molecules in a wound, and at least a first (4a) and a second reference electrode (4b), characterized in that the at least first (4a) and second (4b) reference electrodes are individually distinct and differ by at least one property selected from set-up time, long-term-stability, life-time, and stability in response to chemical changes.The present disclosure also relates to a medical dressing assembly (5) comprising the adhesive sensor strip (1) and to a wound monitoring system comprising the medical dressing assembly (5).
