Abstract
The present invention relates to an intra-vaginal measuring device 100. The measuring device 100 is substantially ring shaped and configured to be placed around a mammal's cervix. The measuring device 100 includes a sensor unit and an active magnetic communication unit 120. The sensor unit 110 is configured to measure at least one physiological parameter being indicative for the fertility status of the mamma. The active magnetic communication unit 120 is configured to transmit data 20 being based on the at least one measured physiological parameter from inside the vagina to a receiving base station 200 outside the mammal's body.
