Abstract

An in-vehicle air conditioner (12, 12a) includes a refrigerant circuit (R, Ra) for circulating a hydrocarbon refrigerant, the refrigerant circuit (R, Ra) having a compressor (20), a condenser (22), an expansion valve (24a), and an evaporator (26a). The in-vehicle air conditioner (12, 12a) includes a first heat exchanger (30) which is integrally formed with the condenser (22) of the refrigerant circuit (R, Ra) to transfer heat from the refrigerant contained in the condenser (22) to a first cooling liquid, a first cooling liquid circuit (C1) for circulating the first cooling liquid, a second heat exchanger (40) which is integrally formed with the evaporator (26a) of the refrigerant circuit (R, Ra) to cool a second cooling liquid with the refrigerant contained in the evaporator (26a), a second cooling liquid circuit (C2) for circulating the second cooling liquid, and a heat shield plate (100, 100a, 100a-1, 100b) disposed between an area including the refrigerant circuit (R, Ra), the first heat exchanger (30), and the second heat exchanger (40) and another area including a heat generating element (14).
