Abstract
The present invention relates to a discharge method for a link capacitor and a vehicle system providing the same, and a vehicle system of the present invention includes a battery, a link capacitor that is connected in parallel with the battery, an auxiliary discharge circuit that includes an auxiliary discharge resistor and an auxiliary discharge switch which are connected in series between the positive electrode and negative electrode of the battery, and a battery management system (BMS) that performs turn-on control on the auxiliary discharge switch when the magnitude of a link voltage which is the voltage between both terminals of the link capacitor after the link capacitor is discharged by a main discharge circuit which is connected in parallel with the link capacitor is equal to or greater than a reference value.
