Abstract

An aircraft hydraulic system (1) includes a hydraulic pump (7) connected to at least one hydraulic device (21 to 26) of an aircraft via a supply path (41) and that supplies hydraulic oil to the hydraulic device through the supply path, a prime mover (electric motor 5) coupled to the hydraulic pump and that drives the hydraulic pump, and a controller (6) electrically connected to the prime mover and that changes the rotational speed of the hydraulic pump according to a required flow rate for the hydraulic device via control of the prime mover, and the hydraulic pump is a multistage internal gear pump (70) having a plurality of gear sets (77), each of which includes a pinion gear (72) and a ring gear (74) engaging with each other, the internal gear pump being arranged such that a discharge portion of each stage is connected in series to a suction portion of a subsequent stage.
