Abstract

This disclosure relates to a computer system (800) for handling a reference parameter from a controller (105), wherein the reference parameter is associated with operation of a machine (103) arranged to be controlled by the controller (105). The computer system (800) comprising processing circuitry (802) configured to: • receive the reference parameter from the controller (105); • determine an output parameter based on the reference parameter; • compare the determined output parameter with an output parameter limit; and to • when a result of comparison indicates that the determined output parameter exceeds the output parameter limit, determine a new output parameter based on the reference parameter and a present availability of a resource at the controller (105).
