Abstract
A nonaqueous electrolyte energy storage device according to one aspect of the present invention includes a positive electrode containing a composite of a sulfur active material and porous carbon, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a nonaqueous solvent, in which the nonaqueous solvent contains at least one type of cyclic carbonate selected from a group consisting of a fluorinated cyclic carbonate and an unsaturated cyclic carbonate, and a fluorinated ether, and the content of the cyclic carbonate in the nonaqueous solvent is more than 50 vol%, and the fluorinated ether is represented by the following formula (1): R<1>-O-R<2> ··· (1) (in the formula (1), R<1> is a fluorinated alkyl group having the number of carbon atoms of 1 to 3; R<2> is an alkyl group having the number of carbon atoms of 1 or 2).
