Abstract

Provided is a heavy-duty pneumatic tire that maintains or improves rolling resistance, uneven wear resistance performance, and durability and provides all of them in a well-balanced and highly compatible manner. In a heavy-duty pneumatic tire, a tread rubber layer (10) is made of a tread rubber composed of a rubber composition in which 60 parts by mass or less of a filler containing carbon black and silica is blended per 100 parts by mass of a rubber component containing 90 mass% or more of isoprene-based rubber and in which a blending ratio between an amount of the carbon black and an amount of the silica in the filler ranges from 3:2 to 1:1, a belt cushion layer (40) is made of a belt cushion rubber composed of a rubber composition in which 45 parts by mass or less of carbon black is blended in per 100 parts by mass of a rubber component containing 90 mass% or more of isoprene-based rubber, and a hardness Hc of the tread rubber and a hardness Hb of the belt cushion rubber satisfy a relationship 1.2 ≤ Hc/Hb ≤ 1.5.
