Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method, apparatus, controller, and product for torque vectoring of a vehicle. The method comprises determining a predicted speed of the vehicle based on the location of the vehicle, the location of a destination, and route information from the location of the vehicle to the location of the destination. The method further comprises acquiring a pre-calibrated mapping relationship between torque vectoring and energy consumption, where the mapping relationship indicates a plurality of torque vectoring ratios of a first drive axle and a second drive axle at a given speed and a plurality of energy consumptions corresponding to the plurality of torque vectoring ratios. In addition, the method further comprises determining a target torque vectoring ratio between the first drive axle and the second drive axle of the vehicle based on the predicted speed and the mapping relationship. In this way, the torque vectoring ratio can be dynamically determined for a particular scenario having a fixed route, thereby reducing the energy consumption of the vehicle in that particular scenario, which can reduce operating costs, increase operating efficiency, and reduce charging times.
