Abstract

A vehicle lamp includes: a combination unit (11A) including a low beam unit (18) that projects a low beam light distribution pattern and a high beam unit (20) that projects a high beam light distribution pattern above the low beam light distribution pattern. The high beam unit (20) is capable of road surface drawing. The combination unit (11A) is capable of switching between a first irradiation direction in which the low beam light distribution pattern irradiates a predefined low beam region and a second irradiation direction lower than the first irradiation direction. The high beam unit (20) is configured to execute road surface drawing and illuminate a road surface to complement the low beam light distribution pattern, when the first combination unit (11A) is directed in the second irradiation direction.
