Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a brake drum, comprising a brake drum wall extending in a circumferential direction and in an axial direction, the brake drum wall extending in the axial direction from a first axial end of a first axial end portion to a second axial end of a second axial end portion of the brake drum, the brake drum wall comprising an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the brake drum wall has a wall thickness in a radial direction between the inner and outer surfaces, wherein the brake drum comprises a plurality of cooling channels arranged internally between the inner and outer surfaces, each one of the cooling channels extends in the axial and circumferential directions between an inlet at the first axial end portion and an outlet at the second axial end portion.
