Abstract

A control method for a laundry treatment device, and a laundry treatment device. The laundry treatment device is configured to be capable of delivering low-temperature air from the outside to a laundry treatment drum. The control method comprises: acquiring the material of laundry in a laundry treatment drum; and selectively running a low-temperature dehumidification mode according to the material of the laundry, wherein the low-temperature dehumidification mode comprises delivering low-temperature air from the outside to the laundry treatment drum. When the material of the laundry is a material that requires special care, the laundry is directly dried by means of low-temperature air in nature, without the need for heating the air, such that the laundry can be protected from being damaged by a high temperature, thus improving the care effect of the laundry, and also saving on electric energy. Moreover, debris such as lint on the laundry can also be blown out of the laundry treatment drum by means of external air.
