Abstract

Provided are a prediction system for predicting occurrence of a positioning abnormality and a method for predicting occurrence of positioning abnormality. A prediction system according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a plurality of base stations configured to receive base station reception information from a satellite, a first calculation unit configured to derive base station error information for each of the base stations on the basis of the base station reception information for each of the base stations and base station coordinates for each of the base stations, a storage unit configured to store a variation characteristic indicating a relationship between a first change amount, which is a change amount of the base station error information accompanied by a lapse of time, and occurrence of a positioning abnormality at a predetermined position, and a second calculation unit configured to derive predicted abnormality information for predicting occurrence of the positioning abnormality on the basis of the base station error information and the variation characteristic.
