Abstract

A display device includes a first substrate, a pixel electrode disposed on the first substrate, a pixel defining layer disposed on the first substrate and covering at least a portion of the pixel electrode, a second substrate disposed on the pixel defining layer and spaced apart from the first substrate and the pixel defining layer to define a space between the second substrate and the pixel defining layer, and a light blocking pattern disposed on a surface of the second substrate facing the first substrate and overlapping the pixel defining layer in a plan view.
