Abstract

It is intended to improve NOx removal efficiency. A NOx removal device (10) includes: an ammonia injection unit (11) provided inside a duct (3) inside which an exhaust gas flows through and configured to inject ammonia to the exhaust gas flowing through inside the duct (3); a NOx removal catalyst (13) provided inside the duct (3) and downstream of the ammonia injection unit (11); and a rectifying unit (20) provided inside the duct (3) and upstream of the ammonia injection unit (11) so as to be spaced apart from the ammonia injection unit (11) by a predetermined distance and configured to rectify an exhaust gas flowing through inside the duct (3).
