Abstract
A battery electric vehicle (100) having a plurality of modes in which output control of a motor (4F; 4R) with respect to an operation input from a driver is different includes a control device (101). The modes include a manual operation mode in which output characteristics of the motor (4F; 4R) upon acceleration are switchable in multiple stages through operation of a pair of right and left switches (14R; 14L) provided at a steering wheel (30) or a steering column. The control device (101) is configured to execute mode switching between the manual operation mode and another mode by two or more operation interfaces being operated without at least one of the pair of right and left switches (14R; 14L) being operated.
