Abstract

A support group (1) is disclosed that is suitable for rotatingly supporting a rotatable resting plate (101) of a rotating table (100) for a wrapping apparatus, the support group (1) being provided with: - a base (2); and with - a plurality of rolling elements (3). The rolling elements (3) are configured to be fitted to the base (2) and to support a lower surface (103) of the resting plate (101) rotating around a vertical axis (Y) of rotation. Each rolling element (3) is freely rotatable around a respective longitudinal axis of rotation (L). Each rolling element (3) has an outer frustoconical contact surface (4) and the longitudinal axis of rotation (L) of each rolling element (3) is arranged on a respective vertical plane passing through the vertical axis (Y) of rotation and is tilted with respect to the lower surface (103) of the resting plate (101) so that the outer frustoconical contact surface (4) abuts on the lower surface (103), so that the peripheral speed of each zone of the outer frustoconical contact surface (4) is equal to the peripheral speed of a respective portion of lower surface (103) that rests on this zone.
