Abstract

Provided is a working machine capable of appropriately setting a holding position at which a to-be-held object is to be held and reducing variations in the operation of holding the to-be-held object. A working machine (1) includes a machine body (2), a working device (20) provided on the machine body (2), an attachment (100) provided on the working device (20) to hold an elongated to-be-held object (W), a first sensor (81) to recognize a position of one end portion (W1b) of the to-be-held object (W), a setter (57) to set a holding position (PG) based on a recognition result from the first sensor (81), the holding position (PG) being a position at which the to-be-held object (W) is to be held by the attachment (100), a controller (51) to control the working device (20). The controller (51) is configured or programmed to control the working device (20) to allow the attachment (100) to hold the to-be-held object (W) at the holding position (PG) set by the setter (57).
