Abstract

The invention relates to a method of producing hydrocarbons from a subterranean formation via a production tubing (110) of a production well (100) located in the subterranean formation (1), comprising: - collecting hydrocarbons from one or more inlets of the production tubing; - injecting gas into the production tubing; - injecting a solution comprising a polysiloxane compound into the production tubing; - forming a hydrocarbon-based foam within the production tubing; - recovering the hydrocarbon-based foam from the production tubing.
