Abstract

A chain (11) includes pairs of inner link plates (14), pairs of outer link plates (15), bushings (16), and pins (18). Each inner link plate (14) includes two through-holes (14a). Each bushing (16) is inserted into the through-holes (14a) of the inner link plates (14) in the corresponding pair. Each pin (18) is rotatably inserted into the corresponding bushing (16). The inner link plates (14) each include a taper (14a1) at an opening end of each of the two through-hole (14a) facing the outer link plate. A ratio (B/A) of a depth (B) of the taper to a distance (A) between centers of the two through-holes (14a) in each of the inner link plates (14) is between 0.9% and 6%, inclusive.
