Abstract
The disclosure relates to methods and systems for gauging a state of charge of a battery (200) in a chargeable device. An example method of gauging a state of charge of a battery (200) in a chargeable device comprises: measuring a current (I<sub>DSG</sub>, I<sub>CHG</sub>, I<sub>SPM</sub>) at a charge control transistor (102); measuring a voltage (V<sub>bat_sense</sub>) of a battery (200); providing the measured current (I<sub>DSG</sub>, I<sub>CHG</sub>, I<sub>SPM</sub>) at the charge control transistor (102) and the voltage (V<sub>bat_sense</sub>) of the battery (200) to a processor (300); determining, using the processor (300), the state of charge of the battery (200).
