Abstract

The present invention relates to a rollable optical fiber ribbon and a manufacturing method of the same, wherein: the arrangement of a plurality of bonding parts for bonding adjacent optical fibers constituting a rollable optical fiber ribbon is optimized to provide sufficient bonding strength between the adjacent optical fibers, so as to prevent separation of optical fibers during widthwise rolling of the optical fiber ribbon; in the process of dispensing resin for forming bonding parts, the bonding parts adjacent in the width direction of the optical fiber ribbon are prevented from being unintentionally connected to each other by the bonding resin to deteriorate the flexibility thereof, so that widthwise rolling of the optical fiber ribbon is facilitated; and damage to the optical fibers can be prevented in the process of separating a specific optical fiber in order to achieve optical connection.
