Abstract

An image forming apparatus (100) includes a body frame (8), a drum unit (1), and an exposure unit (2). The drum unit (1) is inserted to between a pair of side plates (81, 82) through an opening (811). The body frame (8) includes a fitted plate (80). The drum unit (1) is fitted to, in a state positioned with respect to, the fitted plate (80). The exposure unit (2) is fitted to, in a state positioned with respect to, a stay (83, 84). One side plate (81) has a through hole (810). The stay (83, 84) has a positioning protrusion (830, 840). The fitted plate (80) has a positioning hole (800). Inserting the positioning projection (830, 840) that projects outward from the one side plate (81) through the through hole (810) into the positioning hole (800) positions the stay (83, 84) and the fitted plate (80) with respect to each other.
