Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for data inquiry, an electronic device, a storage medium, and a program product. The method includes: detecting state information of an input zone in an inquiry component in a page, where the state information includes content information of the input zone; determining a current inquiry mode based on the state information; updating an inquiry component style based on the determined inquiry mode; determining a data inquiry result based on the determined inquiry mode and/or the content information in response to receiving an inquiry instruction for the inquiry component; and outputting the data inquiry result. In this way, the inquiry mode can be adjusted in real time according to a state of the input zone in the inquiry component, the inquiry mode is automatically switched, and the corresponding inquiry result is fed back according to the switched inquiry mode, such that the cognitive burden on a user is reduced, data inquiry efficiency of the user is improved, and an inquiry operation flow is simplified.
