Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus and an electronic device for image processing. The method includes: determining a first image, the first image being obtained by projecting a panoramic image onto a spherical surface, the first image including a second image, and the second image including an image covered by a field of view of a user in the first image; determining a first angle of a horizontal span of the second image relative to a sphere center corresponding to the first image and a second angle of a vertical span of the second image relative to the sphere center; performing equal-angle division on the second image domain based on the first angle and the second angle to obtain M*N sub-images, M and N being positive integers determined based on a preset resolution; and performing pixel sampling on the M*N sub-images to obtain a sampled image.
