Abstract
A non-aqueous electrolyte energy storage device according to one aspect of the present invention includes: a positive electrode including a lithium-transition metal composite oxide containing nickel and manganese; and a negative electrode including graphite, in which a molar ratio of cobalt to manganese in the lithium-transition metal composite oxide is less than 1.0, a molar ratio of nickel to manganese in the lithium-transition metal composite oxide is more than 1.0 and 1.5 or less, and a depth of charge of the graphite in a charged state is more than 0.40 and less than 0.65.
