Abstract
A user configurable keyable guide module (10) for properly positioning a connector in position on a printed circuit board, the user configurable keyable guide module (10) having a housing (12) with one or more keying guide pin receiving openings (26) which extend from a mating face (24) of the housing toward a rear face (30) of the housing. First programmable keying surfaces (46) are provided proximate the one or more keying guide pin receiving openings (26). One or more keying guide pins (18) are configured to be positioned in the one or more keying guide pin receiving openings (26). The one or more keying guide pins (18) have second programmable keying surfaces (60). A user selects the position of the first programmable keying surfaces (46) and the second programmable keying surfaces (60).
