Abstract

An object is to provide a technique that makes it possible to verify whether or not a configuration of an information system of an edge device or the like has a sufficient performance level that withstands long-term status changes and to generate a plan for an information system configuration capable of maintaining reliability. An evaluation device of the present invention includes: a power system evaluation unit that evaluates a power grid as a power system for adjusting a flow of electric power; an information system evaluation unit that evaluates the power grid as an information system for performing information processing and communication; a processing condition determination unit that formulates a plan for utilizing the power grid and utilizing a processing module, on a basis of a prediction about a change in the power grid during an evaluation period; an evaluation determination unit that calculates a performance index indicating a performance as the power system and a performance as the information system corresponding to a situation where the plan for the evaluation period is applied; and a configuration evaluation unit that sets an information system configuration of which the performance index during the evaluation period satisfies a performance requirement, as a system proposal capable of executing the plan.
