Abstract

A camera module comprises a fixed unit comprising first, second, third and fourth magnets. A moving unit comprises coil comprising first, second, third and fourth coil units facing respectively the first, second, third and fourth magnets. A position sensor comprising first, second, third and fourth sensors configured to detect a magnetic field of respectively the first, second, third and fourth magnets. A first controller is configured to receive the first output and the third output and to drive the first and third coil units. A second controller is configured to receive the second output and to drive the second and fourth coil units. The moving unit moves in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis or rotates about the optical axis due to interaction between the first to fourth magnets and the first to fourth coil units.
