Abstract

The present disclosure provides a handover method and apparatus for a distributed node, and a storage medium. The handover method for the distributed node which is applied to a terminal includes: receiving a message carrying an ID of a target PDU session and a target IP address of the target PDU session; updating an IP address of the target PDU session using the target IP address, where the target PDU session is a PDU session that is affected during a handover procedure of a node serving the terminal. The present disclosure enables serving the terminal using a single target distributed node, which can reduce the delay and loss of the terminal in the signaling interaction and user plane data forwarding.
