Abstract

Provided is a battery SoH management method for a battery management system, comprising the steps of: checking the SOH of each of a plurality of battery modules included in a battery pack; on the basis of at least some of the respective SoHs of the plurality of battery modules, checking one or more first battery modules, which are at least some of the plurality of battery modules; and rechecking the SoH of the one or more first battery modules by considering at least a portion of the margin capacity of the one or more first battery modules as an available capacity.
