Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a wireless communication method and a device. A terminal device can support various capability sets, and can activate some of the capability sets supported by the terminal device. Different capability sets may correspond to different performances, such that more refined terminal energy saving can be realized. The wireless communication method comprises: a terminal device activates N capability sets among M capability sets supported by the terminal device, wherein M and N are both positive integers, M≥2, N=1, or N≥2 and N<M.
