Abstract
Applicator for applying a cosmetic, pharmaceutical or industrial product, having a bristle carrier equipped with bristles and a rod-like bristle carrier core which forms a separate part to the bristle carrier and merges into a coupling section for coupling to a stem or into a stem, wherein the bristle carrier wraps around the bristle carrier core in such a way that the bristle carrier is fixed to the bristle carrier core so that it cannot be twisted or pulled off.
