Abstract
Examples relate to an apparatus for an optical imaging system comprising one or more processors and one or more storage devices. The apparatus may be configured to receive image data of a human tissue. The apparatus is configured to obtain thermal sensor data of a thermal sensor indicating a temperature of the human tissue. Further, the apparatus is configured to determine, based on the thermal sensor data, whether the temperature of the human tissue has exceeded a threshold value and/or to predict, based on the thermal sensor data, whether the temperature of the human tissue will exceed the threshold value. The apparatus is further configured to trigger an action if the temperature of the human tissue has exceeded or is predicted to exceed the threshold value.
