Abstract

The system (1) according to the invention for detecting inflammation in an anatomical part of a human or animal body, comprises a plurality of sensors of at least two types, wherein said types are selected from the following list: a body temperature sensor (300), a muscular contracture and/or electromyographic sensor (302), a tumefaction and/or swelling and/or anomalous liquid infiltration sensor, a heart rate sensor (500), a blood haemoglobin oxygen saturation sensor (502), a skin perspiration sensor, a skin electrical conductance or electrodermal activity sensor, a sweating sensor, a sensor for detecting skin redness or, more generally, colour. The system (1) allows to store, share, and compare data from multiple patients to measure therapies, conduct clinical studies, refine the inflammation diagnoses themselves, and/or activate therapies even preventively by artificial intelligence tools.
