Abstract

[Problem to Be Solved] To provide a can lid manufacturing device, a can lid manufacturing method, a can lid, and a can container containing contents that improve openability and pressure resistance of the can lid with a simple configuration. [Solution] A can lid manufacturing device (10) is configured to manufacture a can lid (L), the can lid manufacturing device (10) including: a rolling direction detection unit (50) including a rotation drive unit (51) configured to rotate the can lid (L) and a reflected light detection unit (52); and a control unit. The reflected light detection unit (52) includes a light-emitting unit (52a) and a light-receiving unit (52b), and the control unit is configured to detect the rolling direction of the can lid (L) based on change information on a change in light intensity of the reflected light reflected by the can lid (L) to rotate, the information being obtained by the rolling direction detection unit (50).
