Abstract

A sheet feeding device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a pick-up roller (31), a sensor (32), and a sheet feeding controller (130). The pick-up roller (31) draws out a plurality of sheets one by one from a sheet table (11) on which the plurality of sheets are loaded. The sensor (32) detects presence or absence of the sheet. The sheet feeding controller (130) controls drive to raise the pick-up roller (31) on the basis of a detection result of the sensor (32).
