Abstract

A separation suppression device is to be provided at a position where a fluid flows to suppress separation of the flow by strengthening a turbulence. A shape in a cross section orthogonal to the flow of the fluid has a rising portion and a falling portion, and a shape of a region surrounded by the rising portion, the falling portion, an upper base portion connecting one end of the rising portion and one end of the falling portion, and a lower base portion connecting the other end of the rising portion and the other end of the falling portion is a substantially trapezoidal shape in which a length of the lower base portion is shorter than that of the upper base portion.
