Abstract
Applicator for applying cosmetic or pharmaceutical products which consists of a - preferably rod-shaped, ideally essentially cylindrical or conical - bristle carrier which extends along a longitudinal axis of the bristle carrier and is covered with bristles, characterized in that the bristle carrier has at least one longitudinal row of humps arranged in a straight line and/or helically one behind the other along the longitudinal axis of the bristle carrier - preferably all essentially identical - each of which carries at least one, preferably several, bristles.
