Abstract

A method for connecting a tubing assembly (150) to a tubing system component. The tubing assembly comprises a tubing (152) and a tubing assembly connector (158) circumferentially disposed around a portion of the tubing. A portion of the tubing assembly connector is disposed within a component connector (132) of the tubing system component. A support ring (270) is disposed within a lumen (151) of the tubing to structurally support the tubing during subsequent molding. A coupling portion (160) is molded over the tubing assembly connector and the component connector, thereby forming a secure and sealed connection.
