Abstract

A conveyance state of an article to be conveyed on a belt is automatically detectable. A conveyance state detection device (21) that detects a conveyance state of a raw material (2) on each belt (3) of a plurality of belt conveyors (1) that conveys the raw material (2), the device includes: an imaging device configured to image the belt (3) that conveys the article to be conveyed from above; and a conveyance state detection unit (10) that detects the conveyance state of the raw material (2) on the belt (3) by performing image processing on a captured image captured by the imaging device.
