Abstract
An ink is an ink for non-absorbent recording media. The ink includes: a silicone surfactant; a binder; and water. The ink has a pH of 6.5 or more and 9.0 or less at 25°C. In this ink, by blending the binder, an image with high adhesion to the non-absorbent recording medium can be formed and high rubfastness in the image formed on the non-absorbent recording medium can be achieved. Further, in this ink, by blending the silicone surfactant and setting the pH at 25°C to 6.5 or more and 9.0 or less, high wet-spreadability on the non-absorbent recording medium is achieved.
