Abstract

An image forming apparatus (100) includes a plurality of containers (2), a plurality of first actuators (6), a second actuator (7), a plurality of first biasing members (8) and a second biasing member (9). In a state where each of the first actuators (6) is in a first non-fitting position, the first actuator (6) presses the second actuator (7) to cause the second actuator (7) to remain in a second non-fitting position whereas in a state where each of the first actuators (6) is in a first fitting position, the first actuator (6) releases the pressing of the second actuator (7). The biasing force of one of the first biasing members (8) is greater than the biasing force of the second biasing member (9).
