Abstract
This application relates to the field of electronic technologies, and discloses a power supply method, a readable storage medium, a chip, and an electronic device. The electronic device may store a correspondence between voltage parameters of a power supply module and a phase switching current thresholds corresponding to different power supply groups. During running of the electronic device, the electronic device may obtain a current voltage parameter of the power supply module, and determine, based on the correspondence, a phase switching current threshold that matches the current voltage parameter. Then, based on a relationship between a current output current of a display screen power supply module and each determined phase switching current threshold, the electronic device may supply power to a load through a power supply group that has highest power supply efficiency and that corresponds to the current output current. In this way, because the phase switching current threshold matches a current input voltage and a current output voltage of the power supply module, it can be ensured that the power supply module operates at a number of power supply phases corresponding to high efficiency, to improve efficiency of supplying power to the load by the power supply module, and reduce power consumption of the electronic device.
