Abstract

There is disclosed, for example, an apparatus comprising a computer platform which includes a swappable first SoC, comprising a first security engine to perform security operations at the first SoC, and a second SoC comprising a second security engine to perform security operations at the second SoC. The first security engine and the second security engine are configured to: establish identity keys using mutual authentication of certificates, which is performed using a Security Protocol and Data Model, SPDM, protocol; use the identity keys to generate session keys; and establish a secure session channel between the swappable first SoC and the second SoC, based on the session keys, to secure data transmitted between the first SoC and the second SoC.
