Abstract

A carbon dioxide emission amount calculation device includes a control unit, in which the control unit acquires exhaust gas information of exhaust gas supplied to a carbon dioxide recovery unit that recovers carbon dioxide contained in the exhaust gas, specifies a first required time required for the carbon dioxide recovery unit to convert the supplied exhaust gas into a carbon dioxide concentrated gas based on the acquired exhaust gas information, and calculates a carbon dioxide emission amount required for carbon dioxide concentration based on electric power information regarding electric power supplied to the carbon dioxide recovery unit during the first required time.
