Abstract
A computer implemented method for scene flow estimation includes: determining a plurality of point detections at a present point of time based on sensor data from a sensor, each of the point detections including a coordinate vector and a point feature vector; sampling a first point feature grid vector for each point detection based on a first feature grid; estimating a previous point detection for each point detection at a previous point of time using a preliminary scene flow; sampling a second point feature grid vector for each previous point detection based on a second feature grid; determining a fused point feature vector for each point detection based on the point feature vector, the first point feature grid vector and the second point feature grid vector; and determining a scene flow for each point detection based on the respective fused point feature vector.
