Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a battery pack and a battery charging method using the same and is directed to providing a mechanism capable of effectively charging a battery quickly. To this end, the present disclosure provides a plurality of charging switches, each of which is connected to one of a battery cells, a first switch connected to a first battery cell charged by a charge pulse, a second switch which connects a second battery cell to the first battery cell, and a charging control device which charges the first battery cell and the second battery cell by controlling at least one of the plurality of charging switches, the first switch, and the second switch to be turned on or off according to an on/off-time of the charge pulse when the plurality of battery cells are charged through pulse charging.
