Abstract

A method in a radio access network, RAN, communicating with a user equipment, UE, the method comprising: sending to the UE a conditional configuration and a corresponding condition for a conditional PSCell addition or change procedure, wherein the corresponding condition is to be satisfied before the UE can communicate via a candidate cell of the RAN using the conditional configuration; after sending the conditional configuration and the corresponding condition, and before the corresponding condition is satisfied, receiving UE information from the UE, the UE information including a preferred configuration, in-device coexistence, IDC, assistance information, sidelink information, or multicast and/or broadcast service, MBS, interest information; and after the corresponding condition is satisfied, again receiving the UE information from the UE.
