Abstract

A disclosure of the present specification provides a method by which an AAnF performs communication. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting, to an NEF, a request for UE selection assistance information for an application operation; on the basis of the request, receiving the UE selection assistance information from the NEF, the UE selection assistance information including a candidate UE list, a UE included in the candidate UE list being capable of performing the application operation through PC5 communication, and a quality of service (QoS) for Uu communication by the UE included in the candidate UE list failing to satisfy a specific criterion; on the basis of the UE selection assistance information, determining a member UE to perform the application operation through the PC5 communication; and transmitting PC5-related information to the member UE, wherein the PC5-related information includes information instructing the member UE to perform the application operation by performing a PC5 connection to a specific UE.
